Ian earned a berth to the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships with his fourth-place finish out of 19 competitors on the 1-meter board at the NCAA Regional 4 Men's Diving Regional in Ithaca. He is one of six national qualifiers from the regional and will compete on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at nationals. Killane was seventh with one dive remaining before moving up to fourth with his final dive of 48.75 points to finish at 445.05 points.
