Dawan recorded two All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) qualifying performances at the Cortland Classic. He finished first out of 34 competitors in the long jump at 6.88 meters (22' 7") and was third of 19 in the triple jump at 14.20 meters (46' 7.25").
