Cat set a school record in the javelin throw with her second-place distance of 37.24 meters (122' 2") in a field of 29 competitors at the Cortland Classic. She broke the previous "new specs" javelin school record of 36.53 meters set in 2009. Her performance is an AARTFC qualifier. Lutjen also finished sixth out of 56 in the shot put at 11.68 meters (38' 4").
