Alana earned two individual victories and was part of a winning relay during Cortland's 168-95 dual-meet win over visiting Buffalo State. She won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:12.18 and the 50-yard breaststroke in 33.32 seconds. Szewczyk also swam the breaststroke leg in 1:11.65 on Cortland's winning 400-yard medley relay team (4:14.93).
