Shamus was named the SUNYAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week after finishing second out of 250 runners at the Ronald C. Hoffmann Invitational, hosted by St. Lawrence. He finished the 8,000-meter course in 25 minutes, 22 seconds, and placed behind only last year's Division III national runner-up.
