Julia was part of three record-setting performance, including an individual event conference record, at the SUNYAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. She won the 200-yard butterfly with a league, meet and school-record time of 2:06.74 and she set a school record in the prelims of the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.32 seconds. Torell also was part of a school-record 400-yard medley relay team that finished second in 3:55.18. She helped Cortland finish in second place for its best team placement since 2014.
