Wendell was named the SUNYAC Co-Men’s Field Athlete of the Meet at the SUNYAC Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships. He won the long jump with a career-best distance of 7.06 meters (23’ 2”), which he accomplished on his last attempt, and he placed fifth in the triple jump with an effort of 13.81 meters (45’ 3.75”). Brand helped Cortland finish third in the final team standings.
