Sam tossed a one-hit shout with three strikeouts and no walks in a 10-0, five-inning win over St. John Fisher. The only runner she allowed was on a leadoff infield single in the top of the first inning. Later in the week, Van Dorn gave up just one run over six innings in a 1-0 loss at defending SUNYAC champion Geneseo.
