Steve recorded four saves, including two in overtime, as Cortland played to a 1-1 tie versus regionally ranked Plattsburgh at home on Friday. The following evening, he made one save and did not allow a goal in just under 60 minutes of action in Cortland's 3-0 victory over Potsdam. Axtell has a 3-1-1 record, a 0.61 goals against average and two solo shutouts in five starts this season.
