Sydney finished in 21st place out of more than 220 runners at the Roberts Wesleyan Harry F. Anderson Invitational with a time of 19:51.2 over 5,000 meters. She was the eighth Division III finisher in the race. Smith’s performance helped Cortland place fifth out of 19 schools in the final team standings.
