Brenda scored the game-winning, sudden-victory goal in the first overtime period in Cortland's 4-3 victory over Salisbury in the NCAA Division III field hockey tournament second round. The goal capped the Red Dragons' comeback from a 3-0 deficit in the contest. Cortland (17-3) finished tied for fifth nationally after losing in the national quarterfinals. Semit concluded the season with 13 goals and three assists in 20 games.
