CORTLAND, N.Y. – Cortland finished first out of four teams at the Cortland Sprint Relays. The Red Dragons scored 395 points, followed by Oswego (221), Oneonta (136) and Clarkson (75).

Cortland placed first in seven relays, with sophomore Katie Molzan (Plattsburgh/Peru) and sophomore Krista Bergquist (West Islip) each participating in four winning entries. Freshman Jennifer Thorpe (Lakewood/Southwestern) and sophomore Kristin Barnoski (Stanley/Marcus Whitman) were each on three first-place relays, while sophomore Taylor Houseman (Wellsville), senior Sarah O'Loughlin (Pleasantville), freshman Elizabeth Neddo (Syracuse/Fowler) and freshman Brittany Zdybowicz (Buffalo/Kenmore West) each swam on two winners.

Bergquist, Houseman, O'Loughlin and Molzan won the 400-yard medley relay (4:13.62), Neddo, sophomore Lauren Mikula (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) and O'Loughlin won the 300-yard butterfly relay (3:13.18) and Houseman, freshman Sarah Wignall (Weedsport) and Thorpe earned a vicory in the 300-yard breaststroke relay (3:33.00).

Molzan, Bergquist, Barnoski and Zdybowicz teamed to win the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:43.74) and Thorpe, Bergquist and Molzan won the 300-yard medley relay (3:17.81). Cortland also won the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:53.41) with the team of Neddo, Zdybowicz, Barnoski and Molzan and the 200-yard medley relay (1:57.79) with the combination of senior Erica Clark (Sloatsburg/Suffern), Thorpe, Bergquist and Barnoski.
