ITHACA, N.Y. – Sophomore Samantha Buckley (Holbrook/Sachem North) and senior Amy Jones (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) each won two events as Cortland's women's swimming and diving team defeated host Ithaca College, 135-108, in a dual meet. The Red Dragons are 2-0 with the win.

Buckley won the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:11.68) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:29.29), while Jones captured both 1-meter (235.60 pts.) and 3-meter (261.75 pts.) diving. Sophomore Kristin Barnoski (Stanley/Marcus Whitman) won the 50-yard freestyle (25.32), senior Sarah O'Loughlin (Pleasantville) was the 100-yard butterfly winner (1:02.51) and sophomore Krista Bergquist (West Islip) won the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.74).

The Red Dragons also won the final event, the 200-yard freestyle relay, as junior Lauren Friedlander (Woodbury/Syosset), Bergquist, freshman Brittany Zdybowicz (Buffalo/Kenmore West) and Barnoski were clocked in 1:43.19.
