ITHACA, N.Y. Six different Cortland players each scored a goal as the nationally eighth-ranked Red Dragons blanked Ithaca College, 6-0. Cortland upped its record to 8-1 with its eighth straight win, while the Bombers fell to 1-5.
Sophomore
Lauren Eichenberger (Suffern) finished with a goal and an assist and junior
Kayla Chambers (Craryville/Taconic Hills) scored her team-high 12th goal of the season. Freshman

Ashley Hughes (Selden/Comsewogue) netted their second goals of the season and sophomore
Jackie Plunkett (Smithtown/Smithtown West) scored her first goal of the year.
Junior
Stacy Billings (Marathon) made two saves for her third shutout of the season. Ithaca goalie Chelsea Welsh stopped four shots and allowed two goals in the first half and Courtney Dowell made nine saves in the second half. Cortland outshot the Bombers by a 22-4 count.
Salls opened the scoring 8:45 into the game and Beames tallied in the 23rd minute to give the Red Dragons a 2-0 lead. Plunkett scored off an Eichenberger assist 4:17 into the second half, followed by goals from Chambers and Hughes over the next seven minutes. Eichenbergers goal, set up by freshman
