CORTLAND, N.Y. - The Cortland men's swimming and diving team dropped a 126-117 dual-meet decision to Ithaca College despite winning five individual events and both relays at Holsten Pool. The Red Dragons' dual record slips to 1-1 with the setback.
Cortland opened the meet with a win by freshman
Dan Drew (Victor), senior
Brett Poffenbarger (Owego/Owego Free Academy), junior
Jeff Moessinger (Buffalo/Iroquois) and junior
Dan Evans (Hamburg) in the 400-yard medley relay (3:42.44). Cortland also claimed a victory in the 400-yard freestyle relay to close the day as junior

Matt Young (Richmondville/Schoharie) and Evans were clocked at 3:14.62, less than two tenths of a second ahead of the Bombers.
Hilker picked up individual victories in both the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.04) and the 100-yard freestyle (48.92). Evans won the 50-yard freestyle (21.66) and Moessinger took top honors in the 200-yard butterfly (2:04.56). Sophomore
Mihali Tzetzis (Syracuse/Jamesville-DeWitt) placed first on 1-meter diving (221.55 points) and was second on the 3-meter board (207.89 points).
