Kristen Serikstad All-American After Tying for Fourth in NCAA High Jump

Kristen Serikstad cleared 5' 4.5" to tie for fourth place
OSHKOSH, WIS. – SUNY Cortland sophomore Kristen Serikstad (Oyster Bay) earned All-America recognition by tying for fourth place in the high jump at the second day of the NCAA Division III Women's Track and Field Championships.

Serikstad was one of three competitors in a field of 18 who tied for fourth with a height of 5' 4.5". Keene State's Crystal Blamy won the title by clearing 5' 7".

Serikstad received All-America honors in the high jump for the second time this season. She tied for fifth place in the event at the indoor national meet in March. The top eight finishers in each event are All-Americans.

Cortland concludes its competition Saturday when junior Alanna Hollborn (Islip Terrace/East Islip) runs in the 5,000 meters finals.
