Hollborn Ninth in NCAA 5K Race; Red Dragons Tied for 60th in Final Standings

Alanna Hollborn fell one spot shy of All-America honors in the 5,000 meters
OSHKOSH, WIS. – SUNY Cortland junior Alanna Hollborn (Islip Terrace/East Islip) finished in ninth place in the 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Division III Women's Track and Field Championships, held at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Cortland's lone competitor during the third and final day of the meet, Hollborn finished the race in 17:11.28. Becca Jordahl of Wisconsin-River Falls won the title in 16:52.49.

Cortland tied for 60th place out of 83 teams that scored with four points. Wisconsin-River Falls and Illinois Wesleyan tied for the national title with 35 points each.
