Sarah Kimball (Liverpool), junior
Kristen Serikstad (Oyster Bay) and sophomore
Andi Palen (Gardiner/Wallkill) each won events to highlight Cortland's efforts at the Colgate University Class of '32 Invitational.
Kimball won the pole vault with a height of 11' 0", Serikstad cleared 5' 3" to win the high jump and Palen won the 3,000-meter run in 10:23.94, all ECAC Division III Championship qualifiers.
Junior
Katie Taber (Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour) also qualified for ECACs with a second-place pole vault of 10' 6", as did freshman
Alyson Dalton (Sherrill/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) with her ninth-place time of 10:44.63 in the 3,000 meters.
Senior
Alanna Hollborn (Islip Terrace/East Islip) finished third in the mile run (5:16.62) and the 4x400-meter relay of freshman Valerie Basciano (New City/Albertus Magnus), sophomore
Barbara Green (Levittown/Division Avenue), sophomore Steph McGrath (Camillus/West Genesee) and sophomore
Kristie O'Reilly (Carmel) was sixth in 4:24.79.
Senior
Katie McEvoy (Batavia) tied for the fifth-best height in the pole vault at 9' 6.25", but officially finished eighth due to number of misses. Sophomore
Valerie Winberry (Bay Shore) and sophomore
Jen Peter (Marlboro) finished sixth (33' 7.25") and seventh (33' 5.25"), respectively, in the shot put.
Junior
Kate Ramsbotham (West Islip) finished seventh in the mile (5:19.90), with junior
Lisa Holt (Phoenix/John C. Birdlebough) right behind her in eighth (5:21.28). Also in the top eight for the Red Dragons was freshman
Annika Samuels (Bronx/New Rochelle), who finished seventh in the long jump (15' 3").
