GENESEO, N.Y. – Molly Bralower scored the game's lone goal in the 53rd minute as host Geneseo nipped Cortland, 1-0. With the verdict, both teams now have identical records of 8-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 in SUNYAC play.

Bralower scored 7:04 into the second half from six yards out on a deflection after a scramble in front of the net. Katie Clerkin made one save for the shutout, while Cortland junior Pam Monnier (East Northport/Northport) recorded two saves.

The Knights outshot Cortland 13-7, including a 10-2 advantage in the second half, and earned five corner kicks to four for Cortland.

Cortland will play at Brockport Saturday at 1 p.m.
