CORTLAND, N.Y. – Cortland won seven races and finished in first place out of three schools at the season-opening Cortland Sprint Relays. The Red Dragons finished with 429 points, followed by Clarkson with 356 and Fredonia with 326.

Dan Evans (Hamburg) was on four winning relays, followed by senior
Caleb VanSickle (Stanley/Marcus Whitman) on three winning entries. These totals do not include the 8x25-yard freestyle relay.

Dylan Scheemaker (Fairport) and Evans teamed to win the 400-yard medley relay (3:48.51). Freshman
