Abigail MacDonald (East Amherst/Williamsville North) broke the pool record in the 200-yard backstroke as Cortland defeated host Buffalo State, 125.5-95.5, in the Red Dragons' dual-meet opener.
Buckley posted winning times of 4:58.69 in the 400-yard individual medley and 2:27.35 in the 200-yard butterfly. Miller won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:45.42 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:38.63. MacDonald set a new Kissinger Pool record with her time of 2:15.30 in the 200-yard backstroke. The previous pool record had held for 10 years.

Kristin Barnoski (Stanley/Marcus Whitman) won the 200-yard freestyle (2:09.47) and sophomore
Laura Bohneberg (Lockport) was the winner in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:56.49) as an exhibition entry. Senior
Lauryn Kaznowski (Kingston) took top honors in one-meter diving (170.90 points).

Jessica Evans (Hamburg) turned in the best time in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:56.49) as an exhibition entry to conclude the evening.
Cortland will compete in a dual meet at Le Moyne College Saturday at 1 p.m.
