Ryan Pericozzi (Lancaster) won the pole vault and junior
Joe Keleher (Newfane) took top honors in the 60-meter hurdles as Cortland sent competitors to the Kane Invitational, hosted by Cornell University.
Pericozzi posted an NCAA provisional qualifying height of 15' 9" for his victory in the pole vault. He also finished third in the long jump with an ECAC-qualifying distance of 21' 9.5". Keleher won the 60-meter hurdles with an ECAC-qualifying time of 8.39 seconds and also placed fourth in the pole vault with an ECAC height of 14' 9".
Senior
Jake Zanetti (Saratoga Springs) joined Pericozzi and Keleher in the pole vault top four. He finished third in the event with an effort of 15' 3".
Junior
Durrell Reed (Syracuse/Corcoran) qualified for the 60-meter hurdle finals along with Kelher and finished in fourth place with a time of 8.83 seconds. Sophomore
Will Razzano (Manorville/Riverhead) qualified for ECACs in the triple jump with a fifth-place distance of 44' 5.5" and sophomore
Nick Wilson (Seneca Falls/Mynderse Academy) also reached ECAC standards with his fifth-place score of 3,160 points in the pentathlon.
Also in the top 10 for the Red Dragons were the 4x400-meter relay team, which finished seventh in 3:36.41, and freshman
Kyle Fitzpatrick (Washingtonville), who placed ninth in the 800 meters (2:00.99).
