NEW YORK, N.Y. – Cortland's 200-yard medley relay posted a school-record and NCAA “B Cut” time in a last-chance meet hosted by New York University.

The combination of sophomore Matt Young (Richmondville/Schoharie), senior Brett Poffenbarger (Owego/Owego Free Academy), senior Drew Hilker (Ithaca) and junior Dan Evans (Hamburg) were clocked in 1:34.13. They broke the previous school mark of 1:35.11 set by Brian Williams, Matt Schilling, current head coach Brian Tobin and Matt Mitchell in 1992.

The relay was Cortland's lone NCAA provisional qualifier during the meet.
