LEWISBURG, PA. – Four Cortland athletes provisionally qualified for nationals in three events at the non-team scoring Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic, held at Christy Mathewson Stadium.
Senior
Alanna Hollborn (Islip Terrace/East Islip) finished third out of 38 runners in the invitational division of the 10,000-meter run with an NCAA provisional time of 36:18.62. Also reaching NCAA standards were junior
Kristen Serikstad (Oyster Bay), who tied for third place in a 21-athlete field in the high jump (5' 5”), and senior pole vaulters
Sarah Kimball (Liverpool) and
Keri Laviska (Binghamton/Susquehanna Valley), who both cleared 11' 5.75” to tie for sixth place.
Senior
Erin McGrath (Oakdale/Connetquot) and junior
Lisa Holt (Phoenix/John C. Birdlebough) finished 11th (37:29.43) and 14th (37:48.49), respectively, out of 38 runners in the 10,000 meters. Both were ECAC Division III Championship qualifiers. Freshman
Alyson Dalton (Sherrill/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) and senior
Brittany Brunetto (Beacon) both qualified for ECACs in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Dalton finished 14th (11:26.6) and Brunetto was 21st (11:41.3) out of 32 competitors.

Kate Ramsbotham (West Islip) finished fourth out of 42 runners in the 1,500 meters (4:50.25), junior
Nicole Ragard (Binghamton/Susquehanna Valley) tied for ninth out of 20 in the open division of the pole vault (10' 0”) and junior
Mandy Davey (Amsterdam) finished 16th in the 400-meter hurdles (1:07.82).
