ITHACA, N.Y. – Freshman
Brian Hotchkiss (Henrietta/Rush-Henrietta) led a group of 10 Cortland runners who competed in the 5,000-meter race at Cornell University's John Reif Memorial Run. Hotchkiss finished fourth out of 43 runners with a time of 17:15.0 and was the top collegiate finisher in the race. There was no team scoring.
Junior
Greg Burns (Watertown/South Jefferson) finished sixth in 17:27.4 and sophomore
Joe Blazey (Newark Valley) was ninth in 17:39.3. Junior
Garrett Parker (Whitesboro) turned in a 10th-place time of 17:47.4, followed by senior
Andrew Brusso (Elmira/Southside) in 11th place (17:48.7).

Cortland will compete at the SUNYAC Championships in Oswego on Saturday, Oct. 30.
