Rachel Phillips (Eden) won the 100-yard breaststroke and graduate student
Lauryn Kaznowski (Kingston) finished first in one-meter diving and second in three-meter diving to highlight Cortland's performances at the two-day NYU Invitational. Stevens Institute won the meet with 806 points, followed by NYU with 716 and Cortland with 414.
Phillips posted a winning time of 1:11.69 in the 100-yard breaststroke. Kaznowski scored 223.14 to win on the one-meter board and scored 210.15 points for her runner-up showing on the three-meter board.
Freshman
Chrisanna Hickey (Hopewell Junction/John Jay East Fishkill) placed third in two events – the 200-yard butterfly (2:20.68) and 400-yard individual medley (4:57.01). Junior
Laura Bohneberg (Lockport) was third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:36.94) and fifth in the 200-yard individual medley (2:22.32).
Sophomore
Morgan Holden (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) posted a third-place score of 200.63 points in three-meter diving and a fourth-place score of 195.53 points in one-meter diving. Freshman
Lindsay Wigderson (Webster/Webster Thomas) was third in one-meter diving (196.27 pts.) and fourth in three-meter diving (150.38 pts.). Sophomore
Kelsey Roe (Auburn) finished fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:21.99).
Cortland's best relay finishes were third-place showings in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:54.33) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:55.87). The 400-yard freestyle relay consisted of freshman
