Taylor Houseman broke the SUNYAC meet record and her own school record in the 100-yard breaststroke and swam a leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay team
BUFFALO, N.Y. – Cortland swimmers set school records in the 200-yard medley relay and the 100-yard breaststroke during the second day of competition at the SUNYAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.
The Red Dragons remained in second place in the nine-team championship with 406 points. Geneseo leads with 535 points, followed by Cortland, New Paltz (320), Fredonia (306) and Oswego (275) in the top five with one day remaining.

Kristin Barnoski (Stanley/Marcus Whitman) won the 200-yard medley relay with an NCAA “B” cut time of 1:48.11. They broke the school record of 1:50.56 set last year by Bergquist, Houseman,
Liz Neddo and Barnoski.
Houseman broke both the SUNYAC meet record and her own school record while posting an NCAA “B” cut time in the 100-yard breaststroke. She swam a 1:05.78 in prelims and finished second in the finals in 1:06.09. Her prelim time bests her school-record time of 1:06.70 from last year and the previous meet record of 1:05.95 set by Erica Ellis of New Paltz last season.
Bergquist finished second in the 100-yard backstroke (59.69) and third in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.17). Seeger placed fourth in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.47) and the 800-yard freestle relay team of senior

Three Red Dragons turned in seventh-place showings – Buckley in the 400-yard individual medley (4:51.13), MacDonald in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.37, 1:01.14 prelims) and Molzan in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.96, 2:00.51 prelims). Jessica Evans (Hamburg) won the “B” final and finished ninth overall in the 100-yard butterfly in 59.95 seconds. Evans' time would have placed her third in the “A” final.
