MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – Senior Taylor Houseman (Rushford/Wellsville) earned All-America honors for the second straight day with a seventh-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke at the NCAA Div. III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Minnesota.

Houseman set new SUNYAC and school records with her preliminary time of 2:20.25. She qualified for the championship finals in a field of 32 swimmers. Her time in the finals was 2:20.37. The top eight swimmers competing in the championship finals earn first-team All-America honors, with spots 9-16 recognized as honorable mention All-Americans.

On Friday, Houseman placed seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke. She is the first Cortland woman to finish in the top eight in two swimming events at nationals since Judy Baker placed fifth in the 100-yard freestyle and eighth in the 50-yard freestyle in 1983.

Houseman scored 12 team points for each of her seventh-place finishes. With her 24 points, Cortland finished 33rd out of 52 schools that scored points in the final team standings.
