Taylor Houseman (Rushford/Wellsville) have qualified to compete at the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The meet will be held March 17-20 at the University of Minnesota, with Beloit College (Wis.) and The College of Wooster (Ohio) serving as co-hosts.
Evans has qualified to compete in both the 50-yard freestyle (March 17) and 100-yard freestyle (March 20). He will also swim in the 100-yard butterfly (March 18) since each qualifier is allowed to swim in three events. Evans enters the competition with the fifth-best time in the 100-yard freestyle (45.22) and is tied for ninth in the 50-yard freestyle (20.64).
Houseman has qualified for the 100-yard breaststroke (March 19) and 200-yard breaststroke (March 20), and will also swim in the 200-yard individual medley (March 17). She's seeded sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.09) and 17th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.78).
