BEREA, OHIO - Cortland junior Gino Bisceglia (Norwood/Norwood-Norfolk) finished in 15th place in the preliminary round of the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Div. III Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Baldwin-Wallace College.

Bisceglia finished in 49.18 seconds and was not one of the eight qualifiers in the field of 17 for Saturday's finals in the event.

Cortland will conclude action at the national meet Saturday with the 4x400-meter relay team of freshman Eric Banks (Westbury), sophomore Zac Farnham-Haskell (Essex Junction, VT/Essex), junior Phill Wiltshire (Vestal) and Bisceglia competing in the finals, as well as freshman P.J. Flynn (Valhalla) in the triple jump.
