HAMILTON, N.Y. – Cortland finished in fourth place out of six school, including three Div. I entries, at the Colgate University Class of '32 Invitational. The Red Dragons scored 75 points despite not sending a full squad to the event. Binghamton (142) and Colgate (109) claimed the top two spots.

Gino Bisceglia (Norwood/Norwood-Norfolk) set a Sanford Field House record with his winning time of 1:05.24 in the 500 meters and freshman
Brandon Loomis (Rocky Point) won the high jump by clearing 1.98 meters (6' 6”).
Freshman
Cody Amengual (West Babylon) and junior
Kyle Fitzpatrick (Washingtonville) finished second and third in the 1,000 meters with ECAC times of 2:31.79 and 2:31.82, respectively. Sophomore
Eric Banks (Westbury) finished second behind Bisceglia in the 500 meters with an ECAC time of 1:06.13 and junior
Zac Farnham-Haskell (Essex Junction, VT/Essex) posted an ECAC time of 50.51 seconds to finish third in the 400 meters.
Farnham-Haskell also won the 200-meter dash in 23.09 seconds. Cortland claimed four of the top five spots in that event, with Bisceglia third (23.27), Banks fourth (23.37) and freshman
Stephan Linton (Roosevelt) fifth (23.64). Linton finished fifth in the 500 meters (1:09.20).
Three Red Dragons earned sixth-place finishes – senior
Nick Wilson (Seneca Falls/Mynderse Academy) in the 60-meter hurdles (9.05), sophomore
Pat Fannon (West Islip) in the mile run (4:37.21) and junior
Brendan Ward (St. James/Smithtown East) in the 5,000 meters (16:05.19).
