Krista Caputo (Staten Island/Curtis) each won two events to lead Cortland past Buffalo State, 118-74, in a road dual meet. The Red Dragons improve to 2-1 with the victory.
Roe won the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:25.72) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:22.37), while Caputo was the top swimmer in the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.97) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:34.51). Senior
Laura Bohneberg (Lockport) won the 200-yard individual medley (2:22.86) and sophomore
Chrisanna Hickey (Hopewell Junction/John Jay East Fishkill) was the fastest swimmer in the 200-yard breaststroke as an exhibition entry with a pool record time of 2:29.64.

M.K. Dugue (Binghamton/Chenango Forks) won the 400-yard medley relay (4:18.91) to open the meet. Junior

Abigail MacDonald (East Amherst/Williamsville North) touched the wall first in the 400-yard freestyle relay as an exhibition entry.
MacDonald turned in a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200-yard freestyle (2:07.13) and 500-yard freestyle (5:41.84). Junior
Molly Kauders (Suffern) was second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:54.16) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:50.23), Evans earned runner-up status in the 50-yard freestyle (25.74) and Culmo placed second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:24.06).
Three other Red Dragons finished second individually – sophomore
Francesca Davide (Ossining) in the 200-yard butterfly (2:24.81), freshman
Michaela Auer (Oswego) in the 100-yard freestyle (58.27) and sophomore
Brenna Munz (Poughquag/Arlington) in the 200-yard backstroke (2:24.09).
Cortland returns to action Dec. 10 at Oneonta at 1 p.m.
