BOSTON, MASS. – Senior
Gino Bisceglia (Norwood/Norwood-Norfolk) broke his own school record in the 400-meter dash and ran the anchor leg on a school record-setting 4x400-meter relay as Cortland competed at the Boston University Valentine Invitational.
Bisceglia finished sixth out of 160 sprinters with an NCAA Div. III Championship automatic qualifying time of 48.07 seconds in the 400 meters. He set the previous school record of 48.14 seconds last season. Sophomore

Zac Farnham-Haskell (Essex Junction, VT/Essex), freshman
Stephan Linton (Roosevelt) and Bisceglia provisionally qualified for nationals with their sixth-place and school-record time of 3:16.88 in the 4x400-meter relay. Banks, Farnham-Haskell and Bisceglia were part of the previous record-setting relay (3:19.28) last year.
Junior
Kyle Fitzpatrick (Washingtonville) provisionally qualified for NCAAs with his 27th-place time of 1:54.20 in the 800-meter run. Freshman
Cody Amengual (West Babylon) was an ECAC Div. III Championship qualifier in the event, which featured 182 runners, with a 29th-place time of 1:54.37.
Banks and Linton each qualified for the ECAC Div. III Championships in the 400-meter dash. Banks finished 46th in 49.82 seconds and Linton was 51st in 50.02 seconds. In addition, sophomore
Pat Fannon (West Islip) was an ECAC qualifier with his 85th-place time of 4:22.94 in the mile run.
