BETHLEHEM, PA. – A number of top-10 finishes highlighted the day for Cortland at the Moravian Coach P Invitational men's outdoor track and field meet. Both long jumpers and triple jumpers excelled with multiple performers finishing in the top-five of the competition field.
Junior
Tomas Velasquez (Catskill) placed second out of 41 entries in the long jump with an ECAC-qualifying mark of 6.89 meters (22' 7.25”). Sophomore
Josh Daves (Huntington) placed right behind in the third spot, also with an ECAC-qualifying mark of 6.86 meters (22' 6.25”), and freshman
Tim Scheftic (Dryden) placed fifth with an ECAC-qualifying mark of 6.76 meters (22' 2.25”).
Senior
Will Razzano (Manorville/Riverhead) jumped an ECAC-qualifying mark of 13.79 meters (45' 3”) to take the third position in the triple jump. Freshman Kenny Sinclair (Rochester/James Monroe) finished fourth in the event with a mark of 13.28 meters (43' 07”).
Cortland also claimed four of the top 10 spots in the 400-meter dash and 200-meter dash. Senior
Gino Bisceglia (Norwood/Norwood-Norfolk) placed fourth in the 400 meters out of 35 competitors (ECAC-qualifying 49.16 seconds) and ninth out of 54 competitors in the 200 meters (22.64 seconds). Junior
Zac Farnham-Haskell (Essex Junction, VT/Essex) placed sixth in 400 meters (ECAC-qualifying 49.46 seconds) and eighth in the 200 meters (22.63 seconds).
Sophomore
Eric Banks (Westbury) finished seventh in the 400 meters (ECAC-qualifying 50.01 seconds) and sixth in the 200 meters (22.54 seconds). Sophomore
Zac Karpinski (Syracuse/West Genesee) placed seventh in the 200 meters (22.60 seconds), and freshman
Stephan Linton (Roosevelt) placed 10th in the 400 meters (51.19 seconds).

Sophomore
Justin Torres (Rome/Rome Free Academy) finished in the top 10 in three of the meet's events. Torres took third place in the shot put with a throw of 14.24 meters (46' 8.75”) missing the ECAC mark by .01 meters. Torres also took seventh in the discus (40.49 meters – 132' 10”) and 10th in the hammer throw (40.96 meters – 134' 4”).

Ryan Pericozzi (Lancaster) finishing third in the pole vault (ECAC-qualifier 4.65 meters – 15' 3”), and senior
Nick Wilson (Seneca Falls/Mynderse Academy) finishing ninth in the 110 meter high hurdles (16.10).
