STATE COLLEGE, PA. – The Cortland women's cross country squad placed seventh overall and was the second Division III finisher at the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational. Georgetown won the race with 16 points, followed by Ohio University (84), Geneseo (94), the Penn State "B" squad (152), Youngstown State (157), Cortland (165), Dickinson (167) and Westfield State (256).

Alyson Dalton (Sherrill/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) placed 12th in a field of 115 runners with a time of 22:10 over 6,000 meters. Sophomore
Emily Cotey (Norwood/Norwood-Norfolk) finished 22nd in 22:37 and freshman
Bori Tozser (Homer) was 34th in 23:09. Georgetown's Neczypor Hannah won the race in 21:05.

Colleen Fischman (Orchard Park/Hamburg) finished 57th (23:57) and junior
Jordyn Naylon (Fairport) crossed the line 69th (24:26). Freshman
