Allie Maguire (Ballston Lake/Shenendehowa) scored her first career goal with one minute, three seconds left in the second 10-minute overtime period to lead the Cortland women's soccer team to a 2-1 win Saturday afternoon in SUNYAC action. The visiting Red Dragons improved to 4-4-1 and 1-1 in the conference with the win, while the host Red Dragons fell to 2-5 and 1-1.

Stacey Wood (New Hyde Park) scored Cortland's first goal of the game, and junior
Taylor Teal (Delmar/Bethlehem) and senior
Kelly Wanser (East Northport/Northport) picked up assists. Graduate student
Pam Monnier (East Northport/Northport) made four saves. Dana DeSimone tallied Oneonta's goal with Jenna McCarey recording an assist. Amy Lusby stopped six shots in goal.
Wood gave Cortland a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute when she finished off a through ball in the box from Teal. Oneonta forced overtime on DeSimone's rebound goal in the 75th minute after a Cortland defender denied McCarey's bid. After a scoreless first overtime, Cortland earned the win in the 109th minute. Wanser sent a cross into the box where Maguire sent a shot past Lusby for the game winner.
