GENEVA, N.Y. – Cam Miller scored a pair of goals, including a short-handed effort, to help lead the Hobart men's hockey team to a 5-4 win versus Cortland Saturday afternoon in non-conference action. The Red Dragons fell to 0-2, while the Statesmen improved to 2-0.

Junior Adam Bevilacqua (Toronto, ON/St. Norbert) led the Red Dragons with a goal and two assists. Seniors Chris Kaleta (Hamburg/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) and Michael Lysyj (Hillsborough, NJ/South Shore Kings) and junior Mike Henrici (North Haven, CT/Manhattanville) added one goal each, sophomore Nick Zappia (Manlius/Kingston Voyageurs) collected two assists and junior Brian Roller (Utica/CD Selects) and sophomore Jeff Vanzant (Barrie, ON/Plattsburgh) chipped in with one assist each. Junior goalie Lyle Rocker (Buffalo/Wisconsin-River Falls) stopped 35 shots.

Frank Salituro had a goal and an assist for Hobart with Brad McBride and Ben Gamache each netting a goal. Ryan Corcoran and Bobby Hannah collected two assists apiece, while five other players each registered an assist. Martin Ausserhofer turned aside 31 shots in net.
