CANTON, N.Y. - The Cortland women's cross country team finished second out of seven schools at the St. Lawrence University Hoffman Invitational. The host Saints won the meet with 28 points, followed by Cortland with 61 and the University of Ottawa with 84.
Junior
Emily Cotey (Norwood/Norwood-Norfolk) placed fifth out of 91 runners with a time of 23:01.1 over 6,000 meters. Senior
Jordyn Naylon (Fairport) was seventh (23:23.5) and freshman
Kerri Culhane (Sayville) placed 15th (24:07.7).

Kayla Blomback (Orchard Park) was 17th overall in 24:24.8 and freshman
Danika Ortiz (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) placed 20th in 24:30.9. Freshman Nicole Bermudez (Lindenhurst) crossed the line 22nd (24:39.0) and sophomore
Kelly Bromm (Washingtonville) was 24th (24:48.5).
