ITHACA, N.Y. – Cortland finished in ninth place out of 11 teams at the three-day Ithaca College Women's Swimming and Diving Invitational. The Red Dragons posted a score of 450 points. Cornell won the team title with 1,648 points.
Sophomore
Krista Caputo (Staten Island/Curtis) earned three individual top-15 finishes. She finished seventh in the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:30.11), 11th in the 500-yard freestyle (5:17.73) and 15th in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.76). Freshman
Miranda Fergus (Pleasant Valley/Millbrook) finished ninth in 1-meter diving (367.05 pts.) and 10th in 3-meter diving (364.70 pts.).
Junior
Chrisanna Hickey (Hopewell Junction/John Jay East Fishkill) placed 10th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.44) and freshman
Katie Cornetta (Gardner, MA) was 13th in the 1,650-yard freestyle (19:00.83). Junior
Sarah Culmo (West Islip) finished 15th in the 50-yard freestyle (24.98) and sophomore
Michaela Auer (Oswego) finished 15th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.23).
Cortland's best relay finish was a sixth-place showing by Auer, Culmo, junior

Jessica Evans (Hamburg) in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:41.38). The 200-yard medley relay of senior
Katherine Harris (Long Beach), Auer, Evans and Culmo finished eighth (1:52.39), and the 400-yard medley relay of senior
Abigail MacDonald (East Amherst/Williamsville North), Auer, Evans and Culmo placed ninth (4:11.74).
