The Cortland men's basketball team will host SUNY Plattsburgh on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students. SUNY Cortland students, faculty and staff will be admitted free of charge with valid school ID, courtesy of the SUNY Cortland Athletics Department.

The winner will play either Fredonia or Geneseo in the semifinals Friday, with the site and time to be determined based on the quarterfinal results. Cortland is the tournament's second seed with a 14-4 league record (19-6 overall). Plattsburgh is seeded seventh with a 6-12 SUNYAC mark (8-17 overall).

Cortland is making its 23rd SUNYAC tournament appearance in the last 24 years. The Red Dragons won the league crown in 2000 and finished second in 1997, 1999 and 2001.

Fans can follow the game online via Cortland Internet Radio and live web stats. The radio pre-game show will start at an earlier time of 6:30 p.m. and is hoping to include interviews with Cortland head coach Tom Spanbauer and Plattsburgh coach Tom Curle.
