Kiki Jones finished fifth out of 75 entries in the 200-meter dash in an ECAC-qualifying time of 26.20 seconds

Sarah Bonnell (Norwich) and freshman
Taylor Hudson (Victor) each won events with meet-record performances at the Moravian College Coach P Women's Outdoor Track and Field Invitational Friday and Saturday. Cortland also set a meet record with its winning 4x100-meter relay at the non-team scoring meet.
Bonnell finished first out of 44 sprinters in the 100-meter dash in 12.37 seconds, an ECAC championship qualifier in addition to being a meet record. She also anchored the 4x100-meter relay that won in 48.53 seconds, also a meet record and ECAC time. The other members of that relay were senior

Veronica Montrose (Clintondale/Highland) and freshman
Kiki Jones (Binghamton).
Hudson won the long jump in a field of 36 competitors in 5.80 meters (19' 0.5”), a meet record and ECAC qualifier. Bonnell finished second with an ECAC-qualifying 5.56 meters (18' 3”). Hudson also met ECAC standards in the high jump with a fifth-place height of 1.61 meters (5' 3.25”). She was tied with three others for the second-best height, but finished fifth due to number of misses.
Evarts hit ECAC qualifying marks in two individual events. She finished fourth in the 100-meter dash in 12.52 seconds and was seventh in the 200-meter dash in 26.38 seconds. Jones finished fifth in the 200-meter dash, which featured 75 entrants, in 26.20 seconds.
In the 400-meter dash, two Red Dragons posted ECAC times. Senior
Abby Vander Veen (Duanesburg/Faith Bible Academy) finished sixth out of 45 runners in 58.99 seconds and junior
Alexis Grable (Pine Bush) was 10th in 59.77 seconds.
Two other Cortland individuals hit ECAC marks. sophomore
Kelly Hugo (Highland) tied for seventh place in the pole vault by clearing 3.25 meters (10' 8”) and junior
Nikki Schafer (Troy/Columbia) finished seventh in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.63 seconds.
Both of Cortland's 4x400-meter relay entries bettered ECAC standards. Jones, Grable, sophomore
Cait Reilly (Warwick/Monroe-Woodbury) finished third in 3:58.09, while Montrose, sophomore
Trisha Clark (Pulaski), junior
Caitlin Triantafillou (Getzville/Williamsville North) and junior
Liz Henry (Massapequa Park/Massapequa) were seventh in 4:03.82.
Five Red Dragons finished in the top half of the field in the long jump. In addition to Hudson and Bonnell, Hugo finished 12th (4.89 meters – 16' 0.5”), junior
Amber Stephens (Stony Point/North Rockland) was 14th (4.80 meters – 15' 9”) and freshman
Erica Wharton (Putnam Valley) placed 15th (4.79 meters – 15' 8.75”).
Stephens finished fourth of 22 in the triple jump at 10.97 meters (36' 0”), Triantafillou was ninth of 25 in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.48) and Schafer was 12th of 35 in the javelin throw at 30.81 meters (101' 1”). Sophomore Lexi Budd (Riverhead) and Schafer each cleared 1.56 meters (5' 1.25”) in the high jump. Budd finished sixth and Schafer was seventh due to number of misses.
In addition, Clark placed 14th in the 400-meter dash (1:00.52), while Hudson (26.81) and Montrose (26.92) were 15th and 16th, respectively, in the 200-meter dash.
