Emily Cotey was one of two Cortland runners to qualify for the ECAC Div. III Championships in the 5,000 meters
PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore
Sarah Bonnell (Norwich) qualified for the ECAC Div. III Championships in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes and as the anchor on Cortland's 4x100-meter relay team during the Red Dragons' competition at the two-day Princeton University Sam Howell Invitational.
Bonnell finished 11th in the 100-meter dash in 12.51 seconds and placed 22nd of 43 in the 200-meter dash in 26.02 seconds. The combination of senior

Kiki Jones (Binghamton) and Bonnell finished sixth in the 4x100-meter relay in 48.92 seconds.
Cortland had two separate 4x400-meter relay teams run faster than the ECAC standard. Sophomore

Cait Reilly (Warwick/Monroe-Woodbury), junior
Caitlin Triantafillou (Getzville/Williamsville North) and junior
Liz Henry (Massapequa Park/Massapequa) finished eighth in 4:03.11, while Montrose, Jones, junior
Alexis Grable (Pine Bush) and senior
Abby Vander Veen (Duanesburg/Faith Bible Academy) placed 11th in 4:06.91.
Also qualifying for ECACs were freshman
Bori Tozser (Homer) in the 1,500 meters (seventh place, 4:46.93), as well as both senior
Alyson Dalton (Sherrill/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) and sophomore
Emily Cotey (Norwood/Norwood-Norfolk) in the Elite 5,000 meters. Dalton finished 16th out of 41 runners in 17:28.23, more than a minute faster than the ECAC standard, while Cotey was 35th in 18:25.45.
