CORTLAND, N.Y. – Four Red Dragons were individual event double-winners as Cortland defeated Buffalo State, 194-97, in dual-meet action.
Junior
Krista Caputo (Staten Island/Curtis) won the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.11) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.61) for Cortland, which is now 1-3 on the season. Sophomore
Chelsey Simon (Oneida) took top honors in the 200-yard butterfly (2:17.72) and 100-yard butterfly (1:02.69).
Sophomore
Katie Cornetta (Gardner, MA) won the 50-yard freestyle (25.31) and had the best time in the 100-yard freestyle (56.38) as an exhibition entry. Sophomore
Miranda Fergus (Millbrook) won both diving events. She scored 259.15 points on the 1-meter board and 253.50 points on the 3-meter board. Fergus qualified for NCAA regionals on the 1-meter board by reaching 255 points in the event twice during the season.
Senior
Sarah Culmo (West Islip) was the 1,000-yard freestyle winner (11:34.13) and placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:38.74). Senior
Chrisanna Hickey (Hopewell Junction/John Jay East Fishkill) posted a win in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.84) and was second in the 400-yard individual medley (4:54.25).
Freshman
Kelly Lambkin (Monroe/Monroe-Woodbury) won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:41.40) and freshman
Angelica Ford (Elk Grove Village, IL) was victorious in the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.80). Ford also led off the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:56.00) that also featured Hickey, Cornetta and freshman
Emily McGurk (Monroe/Monroe-Woodbury). The combination of senior

Brianne Munch (East Lyme, CT) and junior
Kara Mance (Poughkeepsie/Arlington) won the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:37.23).
Dugue finished second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:07.18) and the 50-yard freestyle (25.84). Munch was the 1,000-yard freestyle runner-up (12:05.25), McGurk placed second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:25.56) and senior
Caitlin Lanigan (West Seneca/West Seneca West) posted the second-best time in the 100-yard freestyle (57.80) as an exhibition entry.
Senior
Lindsay Wigderson (Webster/Webster Thomas) registered second-place scores in both 1-meter diving (227.65 points) and 3-meter diving (175.57 points). Cortland also took the second spot in the 200-yard freestyle relay as sophomore

Alayna Mlodozeniec (Batavia), Ford and Lambkin were clocked in 1:38.19.
