NEW YORK CITY – Junior Cody Amengual (West Babylon) posted two of Cortland's seven individual ECAC Div. III qualifiers at the NYU Fastrack Team Challenge. The meet, which was held at the New Balance Armory in Manhattan, did not feature team scoring.

Amengual finished fourth in the 800-meter run (1:54.81) and fifth in the mile (4:15.36). Senior Eric Banks (Westbury) placed second out of 27 entries in the 400-meter dash in 48.92 seconds, ranked 17th nationally in Div. III through Friday.

Banks was one of four Red Dragons to meet ECAC standards in the 400-meter dash. Junior Stephan Linton (Roosevelt) finished fourth in 49.06 seconds, freshman Jerel Williams (East Islip) placed ninth in 50.00 seconds and senior Andrew Greenberg (Suffern) was 14th in 50.87 seconds.

Senior Pat Fannon (West Islip) finished seventh in the mile in 4:17.11, and the 4x400-meter relay squad of Banks, sophomore Neil Yodice (East Northport/Northport), Williams and Linton finished third with an ECAC time of 3:23.72.
