Ten Eyck and Green Each Finish 10th at NCAA Men's Indoor Championships

Connor Ten Eyck cleared 15' 2.75" to finish 10th in the pole vault
NAPERVILLE, ILL. – Cortland sophomore Connor Ten Eyck (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) finished 10th in the pole vault and freshman Andre Green (Philadelphia/Indian River) placed 10th in the long jump at the NCAA Div. III Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships. Both missed scoring finishes and All-America honors by two places.

Ten Eyck cleared 4.64 meters (15' 2.75”) in the pole vault. He missed on three attempts at 4.79 meters (15' 8.5”), the height that was recorded by the eighth-place finisher. Brockport's Zach Ferrara won the national title with a height of 5.09 meters (16' 8.25”).

Green covered 6.87 meters (22' 6.5”) on his first jump, followed by 6.66 meters and 6.75 meters on his next two attempts. He finished six inches out of eighth place. James Wilson of Monmouth (Ill.) won the title at 7.37 meters (24' 2.25”).

Ten Eyck and Green were Cortland's lone two national qualifiers. The championship concludes Saturday.
