Christi Nassauer tied for third place in the pole vault at Moravian with an ECAC-qualifying height of 10' 11.75"
The Cortland women's track and field team recorded a combined 19 ECAC-qualifying performances at three meets, led by 14 at the Moravian College Coach P Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa. The Red Dragons sent some distance runners to the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg, Pa., and some throwers to the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawk Open in Rochester.
At Moravian, junior
Sarah Bonnell (Norwich) finished first out of 99 competitors in the 200-meter dash with an ECAC time of 26.16 seconds. She also finished second of 61 in the 100-meter dash in 12.41 seconds and fourth of 50 in the long jump at 5.36 meters (17' 7”), both also meeting ECAC standards.
Sophomore
Taylor Hudson (Victor) finished second in the long jump at 5.52 meters (18' 1.5”), which is currently ranked 16th nationally in Div. III. She also tied for third, along with senior teammate
Nikki Schafer (Troy/Columbia), in the high jump with an ECAC height of 1.58 meters (5' 2.25”).
Schafer placed fourth of 37 in the 100-meter hurdles in an ECAC time of 15.04 seconds. Freshman
Kayla Koelbel (Bradford, PA/Kings Park (NY)) qualified for the 100-meter hurdle finals with her sixth-place time of 15.85 seconds, an ECAC qualifier, but did not compete in the finals. Koelbel also finished seventh in the long jump with an ECAC distance of 5.19 meters (17' 0.5”).
Senior

Africa Harper (Bronx/John F. Kennedy) posted an ECAC mark with her third-place time of 26.48 seconds in the 200-meter dash and senior
Amber Stephens (Stony Point/North Rockland) placed 11th in the long jump with an ECAC mark of 5.11 meters (16' 9.25”).

Angelique Jean-Charles (Elmont/Valley Stream), junior
Lisa Bodratti (Valatie/Ichabod Crane) and freshman
Whitney Ford (Oswego) posted an ECAC time of 50.11 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay to finish fourth.
At Bucknell, three Cortland runners qualified for ECAC's in the 5,000-meter run. Senior
Jordyn Naylon (Fairport) finished 16th out of 90 runners in 17:26.45. Her time currently ranks 12th nationally. Junior
Dayna Eikeseth (Staten Island/Tottenville) placed 42nd overall in 18:17.90 and junior
Colleen Fischman (Orchard Park/Hamburg) was 49th in 18:24.92. In addition, freshman
Michelyn Little (Voorheesville/Clayton A. Bouton) met the ECAC standard with her 33rd-place time of 11:50.90 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
And at Roberts Wesleyan, sophomore
Valerie Vancol (Merrick/Sanford H. Calhoun) won the discus in a field of 22 competitors with an ECAC-qualifying distance of 38.07 meters (124' 10.75”).
