PRINCETON, N.J. – Six Red Dragons posted ECAC Div. III Championship qualifying times at the two-day Sam Howell Men's Outdoor Track and Field Invitational, hosted by Princeton University.

Junior Cody Amengual (West Babylon) finished third in a field of 27 runners in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:01.30. His time currently ranks second nationally in Div. III this spring. Sophomore Jarred Iacovelli (Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Regional) finished 15th in 9:36.76.

In the 10,000-meter run, senior Tom Hopkins (Syracuse/West Genesee) finished fifth in 31:26.20 and sophomore Nick Marcantonio (Glens Falls) crossed the line eighth in 31:34.23.

Cortland's other two ECAC qualifiers came in the 400-meter dash. Junior Stefan Linton (Roosevelt) tied for 17th place in 49.98 seconds and senior Eric Banks (Westbury) was 19th in 50.07 seconds.
