SCRANTON, PA. – Zachary Oster scored off a corner kick four minutes, 49 seconds into the second overtime to lift the Marywood men's soccer team to a come-from-behind, 2-1, win over Cortland Saturday night in non-conference action.
Sophomore
Dillon Johnson (Northport) scored Cortland's (3-4) goal early in the game. Junior goalie
Tim Beauvais (Hilton) made seven saves.
Christian Lawlor recorded a goal and an assist for the Pacers (3-1-2), while Matthew Hull and Daniel Lopez each chipped in with an assist. Goalie Justin Sunseri stopped five shots.
Johnson gave the Red Dragons a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute with his second goal of the season, knocking in a rebound after a free kick. The goal stood up until the 71st minute when Lawlor tied the score to send the game into overtime.
Oster connected for the game-winner in the 105th minute. Lopez sent a corner kick into the box that Lopez flicked on with a header and Oster finished off the play to give the Pacers the win.
