GENESEO, N.Y. – Miranda Fergus (Pleasant Valley/Millbrook) won both diving events and Krista Caputo (Staten Island/Curtis) and Chelsey Simon (Oneida) each posted a pair of second-place finishes during Cortland's 187-108 dual-meet loss at Geneseo.

Fergus captured the 1-meter diving event with a score of 267.90 points and the 3-meter board at 260.20 points. Caputo was runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.47) and 500-yard freestyle (5:29.42), while Simon placed second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:17.08) and 100-yard butterfly (1:01.85).

Also for the Red Dragons, Chloe Freideman (Whitney Point) finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:43.47) and Ashley Sherard (Valley Stream) was second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.36).

Cortland (0-3) will travel to Buffalo State on Saturday, Nov. 22, for a 1 p.m. dual meet.
