ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior
Kelly Hugo (Highland) recorded two of Cortland's four ECAC-qualifying performances, including a school and SUNYAC record-tying pole vault, at the Ithaca College Bomber Quad Meet.
There was no team scoring at the meet, which featured athletes from Ithaca, Cortland, Cobleskill and Alfred State, along with some Cornell junior varsity members.
Hugo won the pole vault with a height of 3.60 meters (11' 9.75") that matches her own school and SUNYAC record set last season. She currently ranks 12th nationally in Div. III in the event. Hugo also placed third in the long jump with an ECAC distance of 5.20 meters (17' 0.75").

Junior
Valerie Vancol (Merrick/Sanford H. Calhoun) won the shot put with an ECAC distance of 11.85 meters (38' 10.5") and sophomore
Kerri Culhane (Sayville) won the mile in 5:21.01, also meeting the ECAC standard.
Culhane was one of four Red Dragons to place in the top five in the mile. Senior
Colleen Fischman (Orchard Park/Hamburg) was third in 5:23.48, followed by junior
Ameena Dye (DeWitt/Jamesville-DeWitt) in fourth (5:30.28) and sophomore
Michelyn Little (Voorheesville/Clayton A. Bouton) in fifth (5:36.59).
Senior
Dayna Eikeseth (Staten Island/Tottenville) finished second in the 3,000 meters (11:16.99) and freshman
Christine LaVoie (Fayetteville/Fayetteville-Manlius) was third in the 400-meter dash (1:05.69). Vancol placed fourth in the weight throw at 12.25 meters (40' 2.25") and freshman
Diamond Jackson (Farmingville/Sachem East) was fifth in the shot put at 10.82 meters (35' 6").
